Simple awards, verified evidence
Awards make strong PWA experiences easy to recognize without turning an app page into a technical report.
- A valid manifest with a clear app name
- An explicit, stable app ID
- An explicit start URL that launches successfully
- An app-like window mode
- A decoded 512px or larger manifest icon
- A manifest description and a verified manifest screenshot
- A successful mobile render without serious horizontal overflow
Evidence, not assumptions
PWAStore checks manifest data, fetched assets, and a real browser render. A declaration alone does not prove that an app works.
Missing data is neutral
An app is never shown as slow because field data is unavailable. Missing measurements are not converted to zero.
Checks are versioned
Every assessment records when it ran and which evaluator version produced it, so criteria can improve over time.
Experimental means experimental
Modern Install recognizes detected integration. It does not promise support in every browser or on every device.
The public award explains the result in plain language. Its details sheet shows the checks behind that result and when they were last completed.
